Hamilton city council held its last meeting Wednesday, wrapping up their four-year term that began in 2010.
It was an eventful and at times tumultuous four years. Can you remember it all? The stadium location debate, LRT, censuring politicians, a casino debate, the lobbyist registry, incinerators, garbage and waste issues, HSR harassment, stolen money, a protracted housing boom, downtown renewal, building permit records, economic development accolades and more.
So with the term now wrapping up, we ask you to rate council and councillors performance on a range of issues. Take the polls below. Let us — and them — and your fellow citizens know how you feel about how well they did.
Below are a series of poll questions. In most of them we ask you to rate their performance on a scale of 1-5, where 1 is excellent.
Treat each scale as: 1-Excellent, 2-Good, 3-Average, 4-Needed to do better, 5-poor.
Some of the questions are yes no. Some offer specific selections. We'll compile the results and graph them.
