British Columbians will head to the polls Wednesday.
NDP Premier Ujjal Dosanjh has said he expects his party will suffer heavy losses, and the B.C. liberals under Gordon Campbell will form the next government.

Dosanjh is trying to do damage control for his party by pleading to voters not to split the left-of-center vote by choosing the Green party over the NDP.
Dosanjh uses the U.S. election as an example.
"What did U.S. Green voters get for their efforts? George Bush in the oval office. He's oil drilling in the arctic wildlife preserve," he warns.
The NDP needs to win four seats to keep official party status. The unexpected rise of the Greens has meant even that minimal target is at risk.
Leader Adrian Carr is Green's best hope of winning a seat. She says her party has made its mark, whatever the outcome.
"We've already won, in terms of the hearts of the electorate, and in terms of a legitimate standing with people," she said.
