Winnipeg police on lookout for man, 30, who may have information about missing Guiboche
Winnipeg police are looking for a man believed to have knowledge of the disappearance of Amber Rose Marie Guiboche, who went missing almost four years ago near the Health Sciences Centre.
Guiboche was last seen in November of 2010. She was 20-years-old at the time and may have entered a red truck in the William Avenue and Isabel Street area.
Police are now looking for a 30-year-old man they suspect may know details about Guiboche’s disappearance.
Police said the man was described as having short, reddish hair, hairy arms and stubble. He may also wear prescription lenses and was wearing a faded green camouflage baseball cap at the time Guiboche went missing, police said.
The person of interest may have also regularly visited areas outside of Winnipeg, police said.
Guiboche is described as five foot five inches tall and weighing around 105 pounds at the time she went missing. She has hazel eyes, long straight brown hair (ponytail) and a thin build, police said.
Guiboche was wearing a white Adidas hoody with gold stripes down the sleeves and skinny blue jeans. She was also wearing white and pink coloured skater shoes, police said.
Anyone with information regarding the disappearance of Guiboche or the 30-year-old person of interest are asked to contact the Winnipeg Police Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250.
