Ottawa police are asking for the public's help after a second shooting in ten days in which the victim was shot in each of his legs.
Police said a man came into the Ottawa Hospital at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday morning with gunshot wounds to each leg.
He refused to co-operate with police and would not disclose where the shooting happened, police said.
On Sunday, June 22, a 24-year-old man also refused to co-operate with police after he was shot in both legs in the ByWard Market.
In that incident, police said shots were heard on George Street near Cumberland Avenue around 2:30 a.m.
Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call the guns and gangs unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5050 or phone Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477 (TIPS) or toll free at 1-800-222-8477.
