Remains of missing Stellarton boy found

After months of work, the RCMP has identified human remains found in Nova Scotia's Colchester County.
Police say the remains are those of Kevin Wesley Martin, a 13-year-old Stellarton boy who disappeared in 1994. His remains were discovered by commercial loggers in a wooded area of Burnside in Nov., 2000.
At the time, investigators said the evidence indicated the person had been buried in a shallow grave. Police also collected a pair of running shoes and pieces of clothing at the scene.
Police now say they are treating the case as a murder. They say they have no suspects or any other leads. Sgt. Dave Darrah of the Bible Hill RCMP says he can't discuss "the method of death," but says the teenager "died of violent means."
