HMCS Toronto is returning to Halifax this morning after spending almost one year in the Arabian Sea.
The frigate was on patrol in the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean as part of an international effort to curb terrorism and deter piracy on the high seas.

On this tour it intercepted nine drug shipments, including what the military called the largest heroin seizure in the history of combined maritime forces operations.
It docked in St. John's on Monday to reunite some of its excited crew members with their families. Hundreds more docked in Halifax on Thursday morning.
