Police are looking for a man and woman who donned wigs to allegedly rob a sex shop and a Subway restaurant this week.
The couple walked into a Subway on Highway 5 in Waterdown on Feb. 8, sprayed the female clerk with “an unknown spray” and cleaned the cash out of the till, Hamilton police say.
Both wore wigs and gloves.
Two days later, they walked into a Love Shop adult novelty store on Fennell Avenue West around 9 p.m. wearing the same wigs as during the Subway incident.
After the suspects milled around the store, the clerk was pepper sprayed and locked in the back room, police say. The pair grabbed some cash and fled.
Police have a picture of a woman in a white coat who was in the Subway store prior to the robbery. Police would like to speak to her about possibly having seen the suspects before the robbery.
