Ottawa police have identified 43-year-old Jagtar Gill as the city's first homicide victim of 2014 after her body was found in a Barrhaven home Wednesday.

Police were called to 174 Brambling Way, near Greenbank and Cambrian roads, at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Gill's body had been discovered by relatives, a police source said.
She was a mother of three children and was listed as a co-owner of the home alongside Bhupinderpal Singh Gill, an OC Transpo bus driver.
No one has been arrested.
An autopsy was performed Thursday morning and confirmed that Jagtar Gill died of multiple stab wounds.
