Controversial businessman dies in snowmobile accident

Controversial local businessman and property owner Ray Rybachuk has died.
Friends said the 42-year-old died in a snowmobile crash over the weekend.
Rybachuk made headlines recently after he broke into a business he co-owned and took a chainsaw to the roof.
Winnipeg Police named Rybachuk a top criminal threat, after his long history of criminal activity including multiple convictions for drug trafficking, money laundering, assault, and obstructing justice.
There is no word on the official cause of death.
The snowmobiling accident happened Sunday morning.
Police said they were called just after 10 a.m. for a man who had fallen off his snowmobile after veering off a trail into a ditch.
Paramedic were unable to revive the man.
Police said he was wearing a helmet at the time.
