At the request of Senator Pamela Wallin, the Senate on Monday tabled transcripts of the internal economy committee's in-camera meetings in August to go over the Deloitte audit of her expenses.
At the first meeting(external link), on Monday, Aug. 12, Deloitte auditors explained the audit into Wallins' expenses to the senators on the committee and to Wallin and her lawyer.
At the second(external link), on Tuesday, Aug. 13, the committee heard from Wallin herself and debated a report on the audit findings from a subcommittee of three senators — and ultimately decided to refer the report to the RCMP.
