Tories: Take us to your leaders

Here's a question for you. Who is the leader of Manitoba's Conservative Party? If you're struggling for an answer you're not alone.
Even some Conservatives are having a hard time keeping up with who's in charge.
On the night his party went down to defeat last fall Gary Filmon announced he would eventually resign as Conservative leader.
The deputy leader of the party moved into Filmon's role.
But Harold Gilleshammer was "acting leader" for only a few days.
On Monday of this week, the Conservative caucus got together and voted on an "interim leader."
Bonnie Mitchelson was selected.
But Manitobans are likely to hear yet another name soon. Stuart Murray is the only candidate in the race for the full-time leadership of the party. Nominations close tomorrow.
If no one else comes forward Murray will walk into the job. But not officially. He will be called "leader designate" until November when his appointment would be confirmed at the annual convention.
It's an interesting twist for a party which was dominated by one man, Gary Filmon, for so many years.
In a time span of less than two weeks the party will have had a leader, an acting interim leader, an interim leader and a leader designate.
