There was a shocking murder in Halifax this weekend. A teenager was shot in the back of the head while walking home early Saturday.
Jason MacCullough is described as a shy 19-year-old who was saving his money to go to university and a Boy Scout who shoveled driveways for seniors.
Police say they have no apparent motive or suspects. They are asking the public for help to find the killer.
Neighbours called police at about 2:30 Saturday morning when they heard gunshots. But no witnesses have come forward.
The neighbourhood where MacCullough was shot is known for its high crime. But police say MacCullough had no connection with the drug activity and break and enters in the area.
