The list of people facing charges following a fatal shooting at Johnny G’s in February is growing.
Two women have now been charged in connection with the shooting death of William Edward Moar.
The 24-year-old was shot and killed at Johnny G’s restaurant on Winnipeg’s Main Street on Feb. 15.(external link)
In March, police announced they had arrested a 15-year-old boy and 22-year-old Akech Dut Ajak and charged them both with first-degree murder(external link).
Shortly after that, Morgan Van Bone, 19, was also charged with first degree murder in the case(external link) and a Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued for him.
Bone was eventually arrested on May 9 in Winnipeg.(external link)
Now, police have charged two more people in connection with the incident.
Police said Bone was able to evade arrest by being allowed to hide at a residence in the northwest area of the city.
Now, Laura Asham, 20, and Danielle Raven, 20, are both facing charges of accessory after the fact — murder.
Asham and Raven remain in police custody.
