Cyclist killed in Griffintown collision

Montreal police said a cyclist was killed in a colllision in the city's Griffintown district Wednesday around 4 p.m..
Police said witnesses saw the cyclist weaving between traffic that was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Wellington and de la Montagne streets.
According to Const. Daniel Lacoursière, the cyclist hit a stopped car and fell underneath a tractor-trailer immobilized at the traffic light.
When the light turned green, the truck pulled ahead and ran over the cyclist.
The man was declared dead on the scene on Wednesday.
