Henry Jacek talks about the wage freeze with CBC's Ontario Morning.
McMaster professor, Henry Jacek, looks at Dalton McGuinty's plan to freeze the pay of some 480,000 unionized workers.
He spoke with Wei Chen, host of CBC Radio's Ontario Morning.
Jacek says that McGuinty's plan could cause Liberal Party supporters to move to the NDP in the next election, a boost for Hamilton Centre MPP Andrea Horvath, but there is one way the Liberals might come out winners in this power play.
Jacek also explains how McGuinty's wage freeze differs from former NDP leader Bob Rae's battle with public sector unions.
Jacek begins by talking about why McGuinty once opposed public sector wage freezes but now plans to impliment one.
