RCMP made what they call a "notable liquor seizure" in Iqaluit last Thursday and Friday.
Acting on tips from the public, police carried out four separate raids over two days, and seized 92 bottles of liquor — mostly vodka — and 72 cans of beer.
Three people have been charged under the Nunavut Liquor Act with keeping liquor for sale.
It's believed the booze was intended to be sold in Iqaluit, Pangnirtung and Kimmirut.
Police estimate the street value of the alcohol at more than $22,000.
