Police identify victim in Igloolik, Nunavut, murder

16-year-old has been charged in death of Tracy Uttak
Police have identified the victim of a homicide last week in Igloolik, Nunavut.
Tracy Uttak, 26, was found dead at a residence in the community on Thursday evening. Police had been called to a disturbance at the home.
On Friday, they arrested a 16-year-old boy.
He has now been charged with murder, break-and enter with intent to commit murder, and breach of an undertaking.
His name cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The teen’s first court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday in Iqaluit.
