Joe Reid celebrates his 100th birthday on ‘What’re You At? With Tom Power’
Joe Reid never expected to be celebrating his 100th birthday during a pandemic. But that didn't stop his family and friends from organizing a special virtual birthday celebration for the Wellers Bay centenarian over online video chat.
When Joe's friends and family were planning his virtual birthday party, they reached out to Tom Power on Twitter. Together, they hosted Joe's birthday party on the third episode of the new CBC Television show What're You At? With Tom Power.
After finding out that Joe has been a big Toronto Maple Leafs fan since the 1930s, Tom invited his favourite player, Mitch Marner, to send him some big birthday wishes.
