Race Against the Tide Season 4 returns to CBC: How to watch and meet our elite sand sculpting teams
Ten of the world’s best sand sculpting duos visit the Bay of Fundy to sculpt extraordinary works of art
Canadian original competition series Race Against the Tide returns for a fourth season as 10 of the world's best sand sculpting teams battle each other and the forces of Mother Nature to create extraordinary works of art made entirely out of sand. The fun starts Sunday, April 28 at 7 p.m. (7:30 NT) on CBC TV and CBC Gem with weekly back-to-back episodes.
What happens in Race Against the Tide?
The competitors have just six hours to pound up and sculpt almost ten tonnes of sand into a beautiful piece of art before the tide rips them back out to sea. Each week, they're given a different artistic challenge to complete.
Who are the host and judges?
Canadian rapper Maestro Fresh Wes (Wes Williams), who recently made history as the first-ever hip hop artist to be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, returns to the beach as host and is joined by returning judges Karen Fralich, a five-time World Champion and Rusty Croft, a seasoned sand sculptor who holds the Guinness Book of World Records for the tallest sand castle.

One team will be crowned Race Against the Tide champions, take home the Golden Beach Bucket and the grand prize of $10,000.
Where is Race Against the Tide filmed?
Race Against the Tide returns to New River Beach, just outside Saint John, New Brunswick on the iconic Bay of Fundy, which has the highest tides in the world.
When can I watch Season 4?
Sand sculpting fans can watch seasons 1, 2 and 3 on CBC Gem prior to the Season 4 premiere.
