'I just don't look like a dude that works with dollhouses' says the bearded miniaturist
Preston Poling was a corrections officer before he started building miniatures during the lockdown
"People are always surprised when they ask me what I do for fun and I tell them that I'm into miniatures because people have in their mind that miniatures equal dollhouses," says Louisville, Kentucky artist Preston Poling, "and I just don't look like a dude that works with dollhouses."
[Poling is a former corrections officer who started his miniature journey during lockdown by recreating the entire set from his favourite tv show, Frasier. He likes working with electronics and creates visual effects with tablets, computers and televisions. "I think people look at my work and think it's really cool," says Poling
An animal activist, Poling donates profits from his art to charities for neglected and abused pets in the community.
