Cahoon re-signs with Alouettes
Veteran slotback Ben Cahoon re-signed with the Alouettes on Monday for one year plus an option.

The veteran Canadian slotback re-signed with the Alouettes on Monday for one year plus an option.
Cahoon led the CFL with 107 receptions and was named the East Division's top Canadian in 2008. The 36-year-old also amassed 1,231 yards and seven touchdowns for Montreal.
"I'm very excited to come back for another football season," Cahoon said in a statement. "With the season we've had in 2008, it would have been hard to leave the sport. I'm looking forward to the upcoming season and I believe the best has yet to come for this team."
Cahoon has played 11 years with the Alouettes, posting 1,000 receiving yards in eight or more seasons.
