Memphis Grizzlies rookie guard Kyle Lowry is sidelined indefinitely with a broken left wrist.

Lowry, 20, suffered the injury during the third quarter of Tuesday's 97-94 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He was evaluated Wednesday and the wrist put in a cast.

Lowry is averaging 5.6 points, 3.2 assists, 3.1 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 17.5 minutes in 10 appearances off the bench for the Grizzlies.

The Villanova product was drafted 24th overall by Memphis on June 28.
