Rangers add Lowe, Treanor to Series roster

Right-hander Mark Lowe and catcher Matt Treanor have been added to the Texas Rangers' World Series roster.

The team removed right-handers Yoshinori Tateyama and Koji Uehara before Wednesday's opener at St. Louis (8:05 p.m. ET).

Treanor was on the roster for the first round of the playoffs.

Lowe also was added to last year's World Series roster after being inactive during the first two rounds of the post-season.
