The long search for soldier's honour, 100 years after Vimy Ridge
It wasn't until 2008 that Henry Norwest's name was added to the cenotaph in Fort Saskatchewan, Alta.
On April 9, 1917, under a barrage of heavy fire, Henry Norwest was among thousands of Canadian troops who made the deadly push to capture Vimy Ridge. He was awarded a military medal for his efforts. In his award citation, officials said he showed great bravery and "saved a great number of our men's lives." But it wasn't until just nine years ago— in 2008— that Norwest's name was added to the cenotaph in Fort Saskatchewan, Alta.
TeeVee Tenia is a name synonymous with North of 60. He was the young, angry, rebellious teenager on the show. It was a role that shot Dakota House to fame during the heyday of the show. He is a grown man now and has morphed into a healthy role model who's helping youth find their own voice.
