The House

Our message to listeners

It's been a difficult week here at The House. We want to address what happened and how we'll move forward.

It has been a  difficult week here. There's no other way to put it.

For almost 4 years, Evan Solomon was the host of this program and contributed greatly to its success.

But know this: There's a team behind The House that works hard to make sure each program is the best it can be.

The host — yes — is the voice of the show.

But that voice is also shaped by the producers researching topics and pushing to ask tough questions.

And there's a dedicated parliamentary bureau here that also contributes to the show in countless ways.

Every week, with every show, we always try to re-earn your trust.

We know you have high expectations, high standards. As you should.

Our job is to meet and exceed those expectations.

Nobody here takes that privilege lightly.

On behalf of everyone here at The House, thanks for  your support...

Continue to hold the show to a high standard.

There's a federal election coming up.

There will be lots to talk about.

And The House will be here. Every Saturday. We hope you will be too.
