The talks on the North American Free Trade Agreement are over and the pact has emerged in a new form, rebranded as the USMCA.

Canadians were anxiously awaiting the details of the deal. What would happen to tariffs on steel and aluminum? Would President Donald Trump impose further duties on cars?

The state of Kentucky was asking similar questions. Over a quarter of their exports go to Canada, totalling close to $8 billion a year in goods and services.

With tariffs and trade uncertainty, businesses in Kentucky have stalled investments and are stuck in limbo until they feel the markets are settled enough to proceed normally.
