This week on The House, we explore some of the key story lines of 2015 that will carry over to — and shape — the political year ahead.

Navdeep Bains, the new Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, discusses the Liberal resurgence that once seemed impossible.

Then, Steven Fletcher, a former Conservative cabinet minister, reflects on his party's election loss and the legacy of Stephen Harper.

Former NDP MP Paul Dewar may have lost his seat in the 2015 election, but as the man charged as the party's senior transition advisor, he's here to talk about what went wrong — and what the future holds for the NDP.

But it wasn't all bad news for the NDP this year — in fact, things turned out pretty well for the provincial side of the party in Alberta. Sally Housser, Rachel Notley's press secretary during the campaign, shares her experiences of life on the Orange Wave campaign trail.

We also speak with Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne about the role the provinces will play in big files like climate change, and Conservative Senator Elizabeth Marshall joins us to talk about the Senate, scandal, and what needs to change in the Red Chamber.
