We're looking for your stories for our new series Moments of Disruption

From entrepreneurs to social movements, politicians to philanthropists, events to inventions. People and their beliefs are upsetting the orthodoxy for better or worse… changing how we live, our sense of ourselves, and society.

Every year at The Current we adopt a season-long theme, and this fall our new project is The Disruptors. 

From entrepreneurs to social movements, politicians to philanthropists — people and their beliefs are upsetting the orthodoxy for better or worse, changing how we live and our sense of ourselves and society.

All season, we'll tell stories of disruption, looking at the consequences of upending tradition. 

We're also looking for your stories. In a new series, Moments of Disruption, we want to hear about your personal experiences.

To give you the idea of a personal disruption, here's producer Liz Hoath with a story from our past season — it's one of her personal favourites and one that could be described as a disruptor for a family from Ontario. It's just one example of the kind of stories we're looking for next season on The Current.
