Paris attacks: French citizens shaken but 'not afraid'

Friday's terror attacks have hit Paris on many levels. Men and women, young and old, are forced to cope with what many say is a generation under attack. Today, Anna Maria Tremonti is in Paris to talk to eye witnesses and citizens who say they are not afraid.

             "We are not scared. We are not going to stay inside."

As the bells of Notre Dame Cathedral tolled last night, people pressed against the barriers in the hopes of getting inside
for a memorial service in honour of the dead.

Friday's terror attacks have hit Paris on many levels... a state of emergency, police still searching for accomplices, business and cafes shuttered... 

In Paris many people walk from crime scene to crime scene on a pilgrimage of sorts with flowers, candles, and cards.

The authorities said it was "too dangerous" to gather this weekend, but they came any way... gathering at La Place de la République.

Host Anna Maria Tremonti joined French citizens on the streets of Paris to hear how they are coping with the shocking attack on their city and freedom. Anna Maria also spoke to an eyewitness who was close to the Bataclan concert hall when the attack took place.

Paris is not alone. The world has joined in solidarity to support Paris through this recent attack.
