Today on The Current:

The Liberal government has struck a supply-and-confidence agreement with the opposition NDP — but what does that mean for Canadians? Matt Galloway puts that question to three political veterans: former Conservative MP Lisa Raitt, former NDP MP Libby Davies and former Liberal MP Wayne Easter.

Then, Prince William and Kate Middleton's visit to Jamaica has been met with protests, and an open letter calling for an apology from the monarchy and slavery reparations. We talk to two signatories of that letter: Rosalea Hamilton, founding director of the Institute of Law and Economics, and Mike Henry, one of Jamaica's longest-serving members of parliament.

And multiple U.S. states have introduced laws that would prevent trans youth from accessing gender-affirming care. We talk to Elijah Baay, a high school student and trans activist in Alabama; pediatric endocrinologist Dr. Hussein Abdul-Latif; and Cathryn Oakley, state legislative director and senior counsel for the Human Rights Campaign, an LGBTQ advocacy group.
