A year ago today, the city of Moncton was turned upside down.by a killer on the loose and the deaths of three RCMP officers. The CBC's Stephen Puddicome joins us to share his interview with the widow of mountie Fabrice Gevaudan's. She talks about coping with her grief and moving forward with her life.

That is something that happened, and I`m ok. I have enough food, and I have my daughter. I don`t have Fabrice, but I still know that he would want me to be proud of what he did, so, life is now.- RCMP Moncton widow, Angela Gevauda

One year ago today, Justin Bourque gunned down three Moncton mounties.

Constables Dave Ross, Fabrice Gevaudan and Douglas Larche were all killed when they responded  to a call about a man carrying weapons.

Two other Constables - Eric Dubois and Darlene Goguen  - were wounded.

Justin Bourque was arrested the next day following an intense manhunt that left the city shaken. He's now serving a life sentence, without the possibility of parole for 75 years.

It's a story CBC National Reporter Stephen Puddicombe has followed, start to finish. He joined us from our Moncton studio.
