Mars One candidate flying high as he makes Top 100 list

More than 200,000 people from all over planet Earth have stepped forward, vying for a one-way ticket to populate Mars. Now, the list has just been whittled down to 100 names... and we speak to Reginald Foulds, one of the six Canadians on the short list.

Mars One project is holding an international contest to start to populate the Red Planet. From more than 200,000 candidates, a shortlist of just 100 has just been announced.  50 men, 50 women all vying for 24 spots.  

Six of those candidates are from Canada -- including Reginald Foulds who joined Anna Maria in our Toronto studio.
