Federal budget 2015 reveals who Conservatives are courting

It's balanced, It's election-ready. Now: What's in it for you? The Minister of Finance, Joe Oliver, fresh off cheers in the House yesterday, joins us to talk Budget 2015. And with their own reactions we have two federal finance critics, from the NDP and Liberals.

Well... it finally came down yesterday. The 11th Federal Budget since Stephen Harper's Conservative government took power in 2006... but the first for the new Finance Minister, Joe Oliver.

And the timing of this one was important. Delayed from the usual February or March release, due to sinking oil prices. And delivered just months before we're next due to vote in a Federal election.

Budget Day winners included seniors, families with children, manufacturing — and,our guest would hope — the Conservatives themselves.
