Our political panel looks back at 2014 in Ottawa and beyond
Politically speaking, 2014 has been been a momentous year... and a sometimes troubling one too. On this last day of 2014-- it's ending on a tragic note, with reports of domestic violence in Edmonton.
To help us take stock of it all, and to peer over the horizon into the year ahead, we convened four journalists who most definitely have their fingers on the pulse of Canadian politics today.
Susan Delacourt is the Toronto Star's senior political writer.
Stephen Maher is national columnist for Postmedia News.
Paul Wells is the political editor at Maclean's magazine.
Althia Raj is the Ottawa Bureau Chief for the Huffington Post.
What do you think was the most important political story of 2014? And what will be the story of next year?
