Obama's former CIA and Defence Chief Leon Panetta weighs in on fighting ISIS and the story behind hunting down Bin Laden

Leon Panetta had a front row seat on history during some of the most intense moments of our times. He was both the U.S. Secretary of Defence and Director of the CIA. Panetta knows first hand the power and vulnerabilities of American might. He joins us for an exclusive Canadian interview.

Unlike their military counterparts, most CIA officers serve in the shadows. Their names unknown to many Americans. Some analyze intelligence. Others recruit Afghans to the American side. Now seven are dead, six wounded and a US intelligence official is promising revenge. The man who led the Agency on that day was Leon Panetta. Mr. Panetta has also been at the helm during some of the decade's greatest triumphs. He's held two of the most important jobs in U.S. security.

From 2009 until 2011, he was the Director of the CIA. And from 2011 until just last year he was the U.S. Secretary of Defence. He is also the author of the new book Worthy Fights: A Memoir of Leadership in War and Peace.
