Under very specific circumstances, doctors would be allowed to help their patients die. Just a few weeks ago, a BC court came to a different conclusion and upheld Canada's law against assisted suicide.
The split in opinions could hardly be more stark: Is it right to hasten someone's death? Is it right to let someone suffer?
