Hurricane Hazel retires as mayor of Mississauga at 93, but says she won't slow down

Hazel McCallion knows a little something about attaining success. She's been Mayor of Mississauga for 36 years. But in yesterday's election, Hazel McCallion's name was not on the ballot.

After 12 election wins, at the age of 93 Hazel McCallion is stepping aside. November 30th will be her last day on the job.

Hazel McCallion has also just published a memoir called Hurricane Hazel: A Life With Purpose. She joined us in our Toronto studio.
