Parents should find a way to believe in Santa, says Eric Kaplan

TV writer and producer Eric Kaplan argues in his new book "Does Santa Exist?" that logic and science can't definitively prove the question.
Kris Kringle has captivated many a mind, young and old, through the years. Author Eric Kaplan wants all the grownups to gather round because he says the questioning of Santa's existence should be a philosophical investigation. He may even make a believer out of many of you.

TV writer and producer Eric Kaplan is famous in Hollywood as the co-executive producer of The Big Bang Theory, and as an Emmy Award-winning writer for the David Letterman show.

But Eric Kaplan is a philosopher as well as a comedian....

He's currently working on a Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley. And his philosophical musings have taken him out of Hollywood and closer to the North Pole for a new book titled, "Does Santa Exist: A Philosophical Investigation."
