About The Current
Canada's Most Listened-to Radio Program
The Current is a meeting place of perspectives, ideas and voices. We take a fresh look at issues affecting Canadians by poking and prodding them from new angles.
If major news breaks, we're on it, both on air and online. We shed new light on the stories we cover. We hold the powerful to account and take delight in the surprising twists and turns in our stories. We want to make you late for work by producing "must listen" radio.
Nothing is off limits. We are out on the edge of change — looking for change as it's happening, and giving it context. The Current makes you think, and makes you think differently.
