Being the Change Part 2

Part Two of Tapestry's series on being the change you want to see - when it comes to race. Things will only get better when well-meaning people actually do something - people like Hasan Syed and Will Leitch.
Hasan Syed ran from Vancouver to Ottawa for clean water in Indigenous communities in Canada. (Access to Clean Water)

Sports writer Will Leitch, founder of the sports news site Deadspin, reflects on what it means to raise his two white sons in 2018. As a father, how can he best teach them about sexism and racism?

Despite never having run before, Hasan Syed ran half-way across Canada - from Vancouver to Ottawa - to raise awareness about the lack of access to clean water in many Indigenous communities. He tells the story of how that journey came together.

You'll also hear from Sara George, a woman from the Kettle and Stony Point First Nation that he met along the way.
