School of gospel

A few weeks ago, crowds of people came to an event called "Power Up", consisting of forty classes in singing, writing and making the very best of gospel sound. Frank Faulk's documentary is called "School of gospel".

It feeds the soul. It stirs the blood. And it makes the most joyful noise. When gospel music is sung by its greats - Mahalia Jackson, Marian Anderson, Aretha Franklin - you can't help but be moved. And it is almost impossible to sit still. 

A few weeks ago, crowds of people came to learn how to do it - and how to do it better - at a Toronto event called Power Up - forty classes in singing, writing and making the best of gospel sound.
