After last week’s discussion about paying donors for plasma, many listeners sent angry emails about how they find it difficult to donate. Dr. Graham Sher returns to answer those concerns.

Last week, we broadcast a debate over whether blood and plasma donors should be paid.
We thought it a fascinating subject, but we had no idea it would trigger such an avalanche of mail — more than for almost any other recent topic on the program.
Many listeners took Canadian Blood Services to task; they said the CBS is making it difficult to donate. They asked why it's so hard to find a clinic near their homes, why the process takes so long, and why living in England for a short period, disqualifies them from donating.
Dr. Graham Sher is the CEO of Canadian Blood Services. He was on the program last week, and joined The Sunday Edition's Michael Enright again this week to respond to your concerns.
