What's It Like to Apply for a Canadian Start-Up Visa?
Earlier this year, then-Citizenship and Immigration Minister Jason Kenney officially launched the Start-Up Visa Program, offering permanent residency to qualifying entrepreneurs from around the world.
No one has successfully made it through the program (yet), but there are a handful of entrepreneurs working their way through the process.
Tomorrow, Nora will interview three of them: Joshua Lopour, Stanislav Korsei, and José Barrios. All three have been sponsored by the Vancouver-based business incubator Growlab.
Much of the coverage of the Start-Up Visa program has focused on the politicians and investors, but we're keen to hear from the entrepreneurs themselves. What's the application process like? Is it as speedy as Citizenship and Immigration suggests? And why set up shop in Canada?
We'd love to include your questions for Joshua, Stanislav, and José. What should we ask them? Leave your question in the comments below, and we'll do our best to include some of them as a part of the panel.
