Anyone can now register for a .sucks domain, and many celebrities and companies --such as Oprah, Kevin Spacey, and Apple-- have already snapped them up in order to prevent others from doing it first. But some are calling the cost prohibitive and the process predatory and exploitative.
Now ICANN (The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) has asked the US and Canadian trade authorities to investigate Vox Populi, the company which secured the rights to sell the .sucks domain name.
