Using only his eyes, this man creates assistive robots

Robots for humanity.
Henry Evans at home with his wife Jane Evans.

This segment first aired in March 2015.

When he was 40 years old, a serious stroke left Henry Evans paralyzed and unable to speak.

Yet, in the decade since, he's been busy developing and testing robots designed to extend the capabilities of people with disabilities.

He calls his creations Robots for Humanity, and he uses them himself. As he tells Spark contributor Angela Johnston, he hopes one day they'll be affordable for everyone.
