Episode two: Scaachi and the Silent Treatment
Sharing a hotel room overnight with three strangers is challenging, especially when there are big personalities, big opinions and no escaping each other! After our quick dip in the pool, Scacchi and Alan have a tense exchange. Both unrelenting and stubborn, they each stand their ground.
I expect this from Scaachi Koul, she makes a living being outspoken. She's a writer, social media maven, and cultural critic. Scaachi is a smart overachiever, who does not mince words.
When I first met her, I was greeted by a perfectly put together, empowered young woman, confidently striding down King Street. I knew her bold presence would add punch to our experiment.
What I was not expecting was the weight of her deeply upsetting personal problem. It has to do with an important relationship that has deteriorated into a silent standoff. Unsure of what to do, Scaachi believes her situation is hopeless.
As the sleepover unfolds, she reveals the turbulence within her family that cuts to her core. I try my best to untangle the problem and wonder if pint-size Charlie McGettigan and "old Dad" Alan Zweig can help Scaachi find some sort of resolution.

WEB EXTRA | Music therapy has always helped me out in tough times. Against their better judgement, Scaachi, Charlie and Alan all followed me to the bathroom for a impromptu jam session. Here is the extended remix of our efforts.
