If you're an early technology adopter, with a Fitbit, Apple Watch, or any other kind of wearable device, then you know it's already possible to measure your own daily steps, heart rate, and heart function.
But that's yesterday's news. This show is about the future. And if our next guest and his collaborators have their way, wearable technology will be doing a lot more. Their latest idea is a temporary tattoo, to monitor glucose levels for people with diabetes.
The man behind the idea is Dr. Patrick Mercier, an assistant professor of Electrical Engineering, and a transplanted Canadian at the University of California in San Diego.
