For over 50 years, Rod Stewart has been making records and selling out stadiums around the world. He's one of the best selling artists of all time, has been nominated for 15 Grammys, and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, once for his solo career and a second time for his work with his early band, Faces.
At a time when some big stars from his generation are saying farewell to the road, Stewart has just announced another tour. On Friday, Sept. 28, he'll also release his 30th studio album, Blood Red Roses.
Tom Power spoke to Stewart about his life, career, and how he got to where he is now. Stewart will be heading out on tour across the U.S. next month, stopping in Victoria and Kelowna B.C., at the end of October and the beginning of November.
