Ahead of a tour stop in Toronto, musician, singer and songwriter Graham Nash sits down with host Tom Power to chat about his tour called An Intimate Evening of Songs and Stories with Graham Nash.

The musician shares songs and stories from his more than fifty year career in music. On his writing process, Nash told Power, "I have to feel something before I can start to think about writing it. I have to feel something very strongly. When I find something that I'm reacting to, I try to find out as much about the subject as possible before I start to write because words are very important."

Nash reflects on Woodstock, writing with Joni Mitchell and why he and David Crosby aren't on speaking terms anymore.

He also shares why he believes a song or a piece of art can change the world. "The smallest action can create waves of change," Nash said, "I think it can make substantial change because it creates a feeling and thought patterns in people that listen to it."

You can catch Graham Nash's tour An Intimate Evening of Songs and Stories with Graham Nash at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto, Ontario on October 8, 2019.
