Originally published on Nov. 13, 2019
Music has been a part of Mandy Patinkin's life for a long time. This week in Toronto, the actor and singer is bringing some of his favourite songs to the stage in a solo concert called Diaries. He'll be singing songs from his own albums as well as songs from Broadway musicals and popular songs you've heard on the radio.
Patinkin joined host Tom Power in the q studio to talk about his deep love of music, his family and his new album, Children and Art, which is out now. He also reflected on his acting career in films like The Princess Bride and television shows like Homeland.
